Yay, Prom! I remember seeing all the older girls going to their proms when I was little, I believed they were all princesses! But I had no idea how stressful it was.
This year, the theme was 'Down the Rabbit Hole' in a nutshell, the theme was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to honour one of the most successful writers from our school, Lewis Carroll.

I wore a pretty peachy pink almost A-line ball gown (which took about 6 hours to alter!) It had little gems and jewels sewn onto the bodice and was finished with a corset type fastening at the back. Although I wish I had a shorter dress, it was way too hard to dance in all night. I decided on a long dress just so I didn't have to nervously tan my legs the day before!

My hair is already pretty long so I added some extensions from Luxy Hair to add volume and thickness. I used the 160g set in Chocolate brown and the colour match is a dream! I wore a pretty pearl and glass crystal headband from Jon Richard with a very very simple half updo.

I had a pearl clutch bag bought from Coast a while ago but they always have very sophisticated bags suitable for occasions and I also had a pair of pointed heels from Miss Selfridge I bought last year (but here's a similar one from Miss Selfridge). They were my comfiest heels I had and it wasn't until later in the night when I realised that 'Comfy heels' is a complete oxymoron and a lie.

My insane nails were done by a cute little salon in my little town of Richmond. I've never had this short stiletto shaped nails before and I love it! I've always had boring squared off nails so it's nice to change it up a bit. For my make up, I used the Feminine palette from Urban Decay (review here) over a layer of Urban Decay Primer Potion (review here) for my eyes and vouched for the not so glam look with big 34 lash from MAC Cosmetics and finished off with my all time lucky favourite MAC lipstick in Girl About Town (review here)

What would you wear to your prom?
